How to Compare Transfer Offers Before Payment

GetTransfer lets passengers review carrier offers before choosing one. The useful comparison is among the actual offers received for one clearly described trip and the terms attached to each.
Begin with fit, not ranking
An offer is useful only if it can serve the request. First confirm the pickup, destination, date, time, passenger count and luggage. A lower displayed amount does not solve a mismatch in vehicle capacity, child seats, planned stops or waiting terms.
- Does the vehicle have enough passenger seats?
- Is the luggage capacity plausible for the items listed?
- Are requested child seats or other extras included?
- Does the pickup plan match the terminal or address?
- Are special requirements acknowledged in the offer?
Understand who sets the price
Under the current Service Agreement, each carrier determines the price and commercial terms of its offer. GetTransfer does not impose a fixed or minimum transfer price, and the passenger decides whether to accept an offer.
Compare the complete offer rather than an isolated number. Look for stated tariffs covering waiting beyond the included period or additional driving time. Also check the selected currency and remember that a bank or payment system may apply its own currency conversion.
Review vehicle and carrier information
The current GetTransfer FAQ says offers can include actual photos of the vehicle, a vehicle rating and completed rides. These details help a passenger assess an offer before payment.
A photograph shows the vehicle presented with that offer; it does not establish every aspect of its future condition. A rating summarizes past feedback; it does not guarantee a particular outcome. Completed-ride information provides context about marketplace activity but should be considered together with the trip terms.
Check the terms that affect flexibility
The Service Agreement distinguishes Saver and Flexible access. Their support availability and cancellation conditions differ, and Flexible is not available when a request is paid less than 24 hours before pickup. Confirm what the booking screen shows before paying.
For time-sensitive pickups, also review the waiting conditions and the carrier’s contact details once available. If an offer includes a tariff for extra waiting or additional driving, that term may matter more than a small difference in the initial amount.
What the Offer Integrity Check means
Offers pass through an automated Offer Integrity Check designed to detect offers that are likely to be erroneous, fraudulent, abusive or submitted in bad faith. An offer may be withheld as a result.
This is an information-integrity control, not a promise that every carrier, vehicle or future event has been comprehensively verified. Passengers should still review the offer, use the information displayed in the personal account and report inconsistencies.
A practical decision method
- Remove offers that do not meet passenger, luggage or equipment needs.
- Compare the full price and stated additional-cost tariffs.
- Review vehicle information, photos, rating and completed rides where shown.
- Check cancellation, support and waiting conditions.
- Choose the offer whose complete terms fit the trip.
See Transfer Prices, Waiting Time and Extra Costs for the price details that deserve a separate check.
