This Privacy Policy explains how GetTransfer Blog (operated by KG CONNECT LIMITED) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit blog.gettransfer.com.
Reading the Blog
The blog has no comment form, newsletter sign-up or editorial contact form. If you contact us by email or through the linked support service, you provide information through that channel. The optional booking tool is separate from the editorial content and can accept journey information after you enable it.
Optional Booking Tool and Consent
Before you choose “Allow services & load form”, the blog does not load the GetTransfer booking iframe or make requests to its providers through the booking module. Enabling it connects your browser to GetTransfer and the external services used by its form. You can read the blog without enabling the form.
- GetTransfer: Hosts the form, receives your journey details and handles the continuation of a booking on GetTransfer.com under its Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps: Provides place and address lookup. Search text entered into the form can be sent to Google to return location suggestions. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Analytics and advertising services: Services observed in the provider's form include Google Analytics and Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft/Bing, Yandex Metrica, Baidu and Cloudflare Insights. They may receive usage information and set or read cookies. This list is not exhaustive: GetTransfer controls the embedded services and can change them. GetTransfer's cookie information describes its use of functionality, performance and advertising cookies; this is not a promise of anonymous processing.
These services can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when loaded. If you use a location feature, access to your device location also requires your browser's permission.
Journey Details and Booking Links
Location searches, pickup and destination details, dates and other information entered into the enabled form are processed by the booking provider and its relevant services, not stored by the blog as trip data. When you continue, journey details can be included in the URL sent to GetTransfer.com. Booking links also include campaign parameters identifying the blog as the referral source.
You can instead open GetTransfer directly without enabling the embedded form. Following that link leaves the blog for the provider's website, where its own privacy and cookie practices apply; it is not a cookie-free alternative.
Remembering and Withdrawing Consent
The blog stores only a consent flag for this tool in sessionStorage for the current browser tab, not route queries or other trip information. This lets the form load on subsequent blog pages in that tab without asking again. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice lasts only until the page is reloaded.
Use the booking module's withdrawal control to remove the iframe and clear that consent flag. The form will not load again until you allow it. Withdrawal does not erase cookies already set by external services, undo data already sent, or cancel a booking. Manage existing cookies through your browser settings and direct requests about provider-held data to the relevant provider.
