Editorial Policy

This page sets out the standards for GetTransfer Blog. They are publication requirements, not a claim that an automated score, a company byline or a source list independently proves an article accurate.

Content Standards

  • Accuracy: Material claims about fares, schedules, access rules and passenger rights need a source that supports the specific claim. An airport homepage or a link that merely opens is not enough.
  • Currency: State the date or period to which changeable information applies. An article's update date records a content revision, not a guarantee that every timetable or fare is still available on a reader's travel date.
  • Usefulness: Explain the decision a reader needs to make and provide a usable checklist, comparison or record where it helps. Word count, keyword coverage and stylistic scores are not publication criteria.
  • Tools and publication: Unattended article-generation, translation and publishing jobs have been retired. Software, including AI assistance, may support research, drafting and editing. It must not be used as evidence of facts, personal experience, independent review or human approval.

Commercial Relationship

GetTransfer Blog is operated by KG CONNECT LIMITED, the company behind GetTransfer.com. It is not an independent review of that platform. Comparisons should include relevant alternatives and use comparable journey dates, passenger numbers, luggage and total costs. A private transfer is not automatically the cheapest or most suitable option.

The separately labelled booking module is commercial functionality supplied by GetTransfer, not part of an article or evidence for its claims. Its presence is not an independent endorsement of a carrier, a price guarantee or a claim that GetTransfer is the best option. The embedded form loads only after consent to external services; readers can use the direct booking link or continue reading without enabling it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Sources and Attribution

Use primary sources where available: transport operators, airports, regulators and the applicable legislation. Link important claims to the relevant page or provision, and distinguish an operator's published timetable from an actual availability check for a particular journey.

  • Company data: A quantitative claim needs a defined observation, period, geography, sample size, filters, currencies and reproducible calculation. A GetTransfer sample must not be presented as the whole transport market.
  • Calculations: Label hypothetical examples clearly. A worked budget is not a fare quote or a measured market average.
  • First-hand accounts: Do not invent journeys, passengers, interviews, photographs or experiences. Identify the basis of a genuine observation and obtain permission where needed.
  • Uncertainty: Remove or qualify a claim that cannot be supported; do not replace a missing source with a fabricated link or a more confident assertion.

Corrections Policy

To report an error, use the Contact page and include the article URL, the disputed statement and a supporting source if available. Do not send passenger details or booking credentials in a public message. Substantive corrections should change the article's update date; a software rebuild alone should not.

Current Publication Gate

  1. Define one reader task and remove material that does not help complete it.
  2. Check material claims against the relevant primary source and record the source edition or check date.
  3. Add original utility such as a decision table, worksheet, timeline or evidence template; do not paraphrase a source merely to increase article count.
  4. Remove, narrow or label any claim that the available evidence does not support.
  5. Confirm that the byline and review status do not imply a named author, firsthand use or independent review that did not occur.
  6. Update the article's revision date only for a substantive content change.

Historical Bulk Content Cleanup

The earlier bulk article corpus was archived rather than retained as the public publication. Automated destination pages, machine-translated pages and legacy content routes were also removed from the indexable site. The current guides are built around specific marketplace tasks and current first-party sources. Retiring the old workflow does not validate any text by itself; each published claim still has to pass the gate above.

Bylines and Review Status

All current articles use the GetTransfer Editorial company byline, linked from the bylines page. It assigns responsibility to the publisher; it does not identify a named writer, prove firsthand travel or indicate independent review. A named individual or reviewer will be credited only after their role and approval are confirmed.

The publisher is responsible for the content. Automated checks can flag broken links, inconsistent arithmetic and technical problems, but they do not provide human editorial sign-off. Each current guide identifies the primary sources used and when they were checked so readers can distinguish sourced rules, company information and editorial guidance.
