TITSA bus 343 connects Tenerife South Airport (TFS) with Puerto de la Cruz via Tenerife North Airport. It is a direct bus option, but its departures are sparse. Check the TFS passing time towards Puerto de la Cruz, not the time the bus starts from Costa Adeje or the table for the opposite direction. TITSA’s route 343 timetable

When does the 343 pass Tenerife South?

The timetable checked on 2 October 2026 shows these northbound passing times at TFS:

Travel dayTFS → Puerto de la Cruz
Working days09:35 · 13:05 · 17:50 · 21:50
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays09:20 · 12:25 · 16:40 · 19:40

All times are local Tenerife time. There are four listed departures in each daily pattern; the last weekend/holiday bus is considerably earlier. A delayed flight can therefore change the practical choice even if the published bus journey looks convenient.

Recheck the live 343 table for your travel date. Use the time you expect to be ready at the stop after collecting baggage. A scheduled landing just before a passing time does not establish that you can catch that bus.

The fare to Puerto de la Cruz

TITSA’s fare calculator currently gives €13.55 for a standard single ticket from Aeropuerto Tenerife Sur (T), stop 7571, to Puerto de la Cruz, stop 5090, on route 343. To reproduce the search, choose route 343 in the Costa Adeje → Puerto de la Cruz direction, then those two stops. TITSA fare calculator

Our calculation for two full-fare adults is 2 × €13.55 = €27.10 one way. That covers these bus tickets; add any separate journey needed from the arrival stop to your accommodation. If using a travel card or a concession, check the applicable product and eligibility rather than assuming the standard fare or a group discount applies.

At the airport and at the destination

Follow the airport signs for buses, then confirm 343 towards Puerto de la Cruz with the destination display or driver. The same route also operates towards Costa Adeje, so the number alone is not enough. Aena’s Tenerife South bus guide

Save your accommodation’s full address and compare the final walking route before boarding. Puerto de la Cruz bus station is an arrival point, not a hotel-door service. Keep anything you will need during the journey accessible when loading luggage, and ask the operator about oversized items or assistance requirements in advance.

If the direct bus does not fit

A public-transport alternative to check is bus 10 to Santa Cruz Intercambiador, then bus 100 to Puerto de la Cruz. Read both directions and departure tables: route 10 · route 100.

Allow for the change at Santa Cruz and check the second leg before taking the first. Do not apply the direct 343 ticket price to this two-bus journey without checking its fare. A bus that reaches Santa Cruz late does not by itself establish an onward connection to Puerto de la Cruz.

Aena also lists the night route 711 between the airport and Santa Cruz/the south. It is not a direct night bus to Puerto de la Cruz. If considering it, check the complete onward journey rather than assuming that “airport night bus” solves the whole route.

What our booking records show about late pickups

In our reviewed GetTransfer bookings from Tenerife South Airport to destinations recorded as Puerto de la Cruz, scheduled from September 2025 through August 2026 and marked completed, 11% had a scheduled pickup between 22:00 and 05:59 local Canary Islands time. These are booked pickup times, not flight arrival times.

If no usable bus connection remains, check an airport taxi or a confirmed car booking for your exact destination. Compare the complete price, baggage arrangements and meeting instructions. Our transfer-offer checklist can help with that comparison. GetTransfer publishes this guide and sells transfer booking services.

Plan the return separately

In the same reviewed set, 25% were the outward leg of a booking that also included a return journey. This describes the booking arrangement, not a separate confirmation that the return ride took place.

These figures describe GetTransfer bookings, not all airport travellers. The analysis counts each outward or one-way booking once, excludes return-leg rows and uses destination names recorded as Puerto de la Cruz. A system status is not an independent audit of a ride.

Open the opposite direction in the 343 timetable for the journey back to TFS. An airport passing time in the table above is not a departure time from Puerto de la Cruz. Check the day type, the stop you will board at and the arrival margin your airline requires; save a fallback if the selected service leaves too little room for disruption.
