For Yokohama Station, compare the Keikyu railway with the airport bus to YCAT. If your hotel is around Minato Mirai or Yamashita Park, check the separate waterfront bus route before choosing a service to Yokohama Station. If your onward ticket says Shin-Yokohama, search that destination explicitly: it is a different station.
Haneda’s official bus directory lists these as different destinations. Having “Yokohama” in the name does not mean a service delivers you to the entrance you need.
Keikyu: check the destination and the changes
Follow the Keikyu signs for the railway journey towards Yokohama. Haneda is also served by Tokyo Monorail, so the operator name matters. At Terminals 1 and 2 the railway access is on B1F; at Terminal 3, the Keikyu gate towards Tokyo and Yokohama is on 2F, beside the arrivals lobby. Haneda rail-access guide
Use the Keikyu fare and journey search with your actual terminal, date and time. A search checked on 2 October 2026 for Terminal 3 → Yokohama returned a ¥370 adult ticket, or ¥363 by IC card, and a 25-minute itinerary with one change at Keikyu Kamata. This is a checked example, not a promise that every departure takes the same time or runs directly.
Look at the number of changes before boarding. When a change is shown, save the connecting train’s destination as well as the station name. At the platform, match the service type and destination to the display. Keikyu’s boarding and route guidance
Keep the same IC card or device available for entry and exit. Keikyu explains that an IC fare applies when one card is used through both gates; its ticket and IC fares are rounded differently. If you are buying a paper ticket, use the fare shown for your own departure station.
The bus to Yokohama Station: YCAT
The ordinary airport bus to YCAT costs ¥800 per adult and ¥400 per child one way. Its separate late-night/early-morning service to YCAT/Sakuragicho has a different tariff: ¥2,000 per adult and ¥1,000 per child. Check which service you will use before comparing prices. Keikyu Bus: Haneda–YCAT fares and timetable
| Arrival terminal | YCAT bus stop |
|---|---|
| Terminal 3 | Stop 7 |
| Terminal 1 | Stop 10 |
| Terminal 2 | Stop 11 |
These stop numbers are for the YCAT service. Bus boarding is on 1F; from Terminal 3’s 2F arrivals lobby, follow the bus signs down to the boarding area. Check the destination display before joining a queue. Airport bus-stop directory
Keikyu instructs passengers departing Haneda to buy a ticket before boarding. Airport departures use first-come boarding; a ticket does not select a particular departure. Allow time for the queue, and ask about baggage space if you have bulky items. Road conditions can affect the journey.
Going beyond Yokohama Station
For Minato Mirai, Yamashita Park or the Red Brick Warehouse area, check the waterfront airport-bus route. The operator lists ¥1,000 per adult and ¥500 per child for that area. Check the particular departure and stop list: the area name is not a promise that every bus serves your hotel.
Use the airport counter or current departure board to confirm the waterfront service’s boarding point. Do not reuse the YCAT stop numbers from the table above. If the direct service does not fit your arrival, compare a journey via Yokohama Station with the final local connection or walk included.
Make the comparison for your actual arrival
| If this matters most | Check first |
|---|---|
| A railway journey to Yokohama Station | Keikyu’s current result, including any change |
| A bus to the station area | YCAT departure, queue and onward walk |
| A waterfront address | The separate route’s stop list and next usable departure |
| A late flight or difficult baggage transfer | The last complete public-transport journey and a priced fallback |
Search using the time you expect to leave the terminal after arrival formalities and baggage collection. If a delay makes your saved connection impossible, check again; an airport’s approximate journey time does not establish that a train or bus is still running.
For a car, compare an actual quote for the same terminal, destination entrance, passengers and bags. Our guide to comparing transfer offers explains which pickup and price terms to check. GetTransfer publishes this guide and sells transfer booking services.
