How Carriers Use GetTransfer to Plan Work

GetTransfer gives independent carriers a digital marketplace for reviewing passenger requests and deciding which trips fit their vehicles, working area and schedule. It does not require a carrier to accept every request or promise a particular level of earnings.

Requests contain planning information

A passenger request can include the route, pickup time, number of passengers, luggage, child seats and other services. For hourly chauffeured bookings, it may also describe the expected time, distance or stops.

Before making an offer, a carrier should confirm that the available vehicle and driver can meet every material requirement. A clear response is more useful than an attractive price attached to a vehicle that cannot serve the trip.

Carriers set their own offers

The current Service Agreement says the carrier alone determines the price and other commercial terms of each offer. The service does not impose a fixed or minimum transfer price, and the passenger decides whether to accept.

An offer should state the vehicle and price accurately and disclose any applicable tariffs for additional waiting or driving time. The offer must reflect the trip the carrier can actually perform, not an assumption that details can be renegotiated after payment.

Advance requests support schedule planning

The current carrier page explains that rides can be booked in advance, allowing carriers to consider which requests fit their schedule. Carriers can set a working area and receive notifications of new requests, including requests near a scheduled drop-off area.

This can help organize work around time and location, but availability still depends on the requests present in the marketplace and the carrier’s own capacity. There is no mandatory minimum or maximum number of requests to accept.

Local rules still apply

The carrier page states that fares are subject to the laws of the carrier’s country. The Service Agreement also places responsibility for licenses and permits required by applicable law on the carrier performing the transfer.

Registration on a marketplace is not a substitute for a transport license, tax registration, insurance, vehicle authorization or driver credential required in the place of operation. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and activity, so carriers should obtain current local advice where necessary.

Build an offer passengers can assess

  • Use current and accurate vehicle information and photos.
  • Confirm passenger and luggage capacity.
  • Acknowledge child seats, accessibility needs and planned stops.
  • Set a price that reflects the described trip.
  • Disclose additional-time tariffs where they may apply.
  • Keep contact and arrival information current after acceptance.

Why accurate offers matter

Passengers choose between the actual offers they receive. Complete vehicle information and clear terms let them assess suitability before payment. Accurate offers also reduce avoidable disputes about capacity, pickup arrangements and extra time.

The platform applies an automated Offer Integrity Check designed to detect offers likely to be erroneous, fraudulent, abusive or submitted in bad faith. This does not transfer responsibility for the offer away from the carrier.
