Antalya Airport to Side: Plan the Ride to Your Hotel

For a Side hotel, first check whether your holiday package already includes the airport coach. If it does not, the simplest arrival is a taxi or a booked vehicle to your hotel's actual reception. Send the full address and flight number: a ride into Antalya city is a different journey from a ride to the Side resort area.

How long should you allow?

Think in terms of a resort transfer, rather than a quick city-airport hop. As one hotel-specific example, the Acanthus Cennet Barut Collection in Side gives a 57-minute airport journey estimate in its 2025 hotel brochure. That is the hotel's estimate for its own property; ask your hotel for the drive to your entrance and allow for traffic. A shared coach may also visit other hotels.

The Turkish airport authority lists Antalya city and Manavgat as separate destinations. Copy the address from your hotel confirmation, including the more specific locality around Manavgat where relevant. A map pin is useful, but ask whether it marks reception or a service entrance.

If a coach is included in your holiday

Find the transfer voucher as well as the hotel voucher. It should tell you whose welcome counter to use and how the hotel drop-off works. The airport says tour-operator coaches use welcome counters outside the terminal.

Before paying for another ride, check:

• Is everyone travelling listed, together with the correct flight?
• Where is the representative, and what name is on the sign?
• Does the coach stop at your hotel, and are there other hotel stops first?
• Whom do you contact if the flight is delayed?

Keep the voucher and contact details available offline. If you cannot find the representative, describe your terminal, exit and a nearby sign when you call.

If you need a taxi or your own vehicle

The airport has taxi ranks outside the arrivals exits of all terminals, with fare boards beside the ranks. Find your destination on the board and confirm the full hotel address, price and payment method before boarding. That is the place to obtain the current taxi fare for your particular hotel. For a booked vehicle, compare one complete price for everyone and their bags. Ask whether it covers the agreed hotel entrance, road charges, requested child seats and waiting after the flight. Describe suitcase sizes and any pushchair or sports equipment; four passenger seats do not tell you how much luggage fits.

If considering public transport, use the airport's bus and tram information for the airport leg, then obtain the onward Manavgat/Side connection and hotel stop from its operator. Only choose that plan once you have all its departures and fares: the airport-to-Antalya leg alone will not get you to the resort.

Meet at the terminal your flight uses

Check the terminal finder, then send your flight number and arrival terminal to the person meeting you. Terminal 2 has a separate meeting area from Terminal 1 and the Domestic Terminal.

If you need to change terminals, the airport's free Domestic/Terminal 1–Terminal 2 shuttle runs about every 20 minutes from the Departures areas. After a delay, send the revised arrival information and agree where to meet. For the return, work backwards from your airline's required airport arrival time, adding the drive and a traffic allowance. Save the reception pickup point rather than simply writing “Side”.
