Beauvais Airport to Paris: Porte Maillot or La Villette?

From Paris-Beauvais Airport (BVA), compare Aérobus A01 to Porte Maillot with A04 to La Villette. The two services arrive in different parts of Paris and have different ticket rules. Choose using the onward route to your hotel, not just the word “Paris” on the bus.
The operator’s current route list shows A01 and A04. Use that list when checking an older travel plan: a stop mentioned in an old article is not evidence that the service is still available.
Porte Maillot or La Villette?
| Service | Paris stop and useful connection | Ticket choice |
|---|---|---|
| A01: Porte Maillot | 22–24 Boulevard Pershing, 75017 Paris. Compare an onward journey on Metro 1. | Open-ticket service; check the validity printed on your ticket. Online adult one-way fare: €17.90. |
| A04: La Villette | 30 Avenue Corentin Cariou, 75019 Paris, at the Cité des Sciences bus station. Compare an onward journey on Metro 7. | Online booking only, for the selected date and time. Listed adult one-way fare: €15.90. |
These are the operator’s published online one-way fares checked on 3 October 2026, before any Paris transport. Promotions and the price shown for your selected journey may differ. Sources: A01 details and A04 details.
For a destination reached conveniently from Metro 1, check Porte Maillot first; for one reached from Metro 7, check La Villette first. Then compare the full itinerary: wait for the coach, road journey, walk into the station, any rail change and the final walk to your address. A €2 difference in the coach fare may matter less than an additional change with luggage.
The ticket rules matter if your flight is late
A01 sells tickets online and at the airport; the operator lists cash or card at the airport and card-only sales at Porte Maillot. Its online one-way child fare for ages 4–11 is €9.90, whereas the A01 route page lists €18 for an on-site one-way ticket for both adults and children in that age band. Children aged 0–3 are listed as free. Check ages and the sales channel before paying. A01 ticket information
A04 has no on-site ticket sales at either end or on the bus. Its ticket is for the selected departure. The general fare conditions describe both services as non-changeable and non-refundable, so read the terms for the actual ticket before purchase. Do not assume that a missed A04 reservation automatically becomes an A01 ticket. Aérobus fare conditions
For the return from La Villette, the operator gives pedestrian access from the Cité des Sciences forecourt to level 0, platform 18, and says the bus-station access code is on the ticket. Save that ticket offline before travelling to the stop. La Villette access instructions
Add the Paris leg before comparing prices
Aérobus and the Paris metro use separate tickets. Île-de-France Mobilités lists the ordinary Metro–Train–RER ticket at €2.55, available on a compatible smartphone or Navigo Easy. It permits qualifying rail connections without leaving the network; it does not include a bus or tram journey. Metro–Train–RER ticket rules
| One adult, one way | Coach plus one €2.55 rail ticket |
|---|---|
| A01 at the listed €17.90 online fare | €20.45 |
| A04 at the listed €15.90 online fare | €18.45 |
These are calculated examples for a journey that needs one full-fare Paris rail ticket, using an existing compatible phone or pass. They exclude the cost of buying a physical pass, any additional bus or tram ticket, and a taxi. If your existing Paris travel pass covers the onward journey, do not add that ticket again.
The separate Paris Region–Airports ticket does not cover Aérobus. Its name does not make it a ticket from Beauvais. Official airport-ticket exclusions
Allow for the queue, traffic and the journey after the coach
Use roughly 90 minutes for the coach as a planning baseline, then add waiting and the onward Paris journey; allow more for traffic. Aérobus’s fare page gives journey times starting at 1 hour 30 minutes, while its A01 page also quotes a shorter starting estimate. Neither is a door-to-hotel guarantee. Check the departure offered for your date rather than planning around the shortest advertised time.
After a late arrival, check whether the Paris connection will still be running when the coach reaches the city. If you need wheelchair assistance, Aérobus asks passengers to contact its service 48 hours before travel to arrange an adapted shuttle; capacity is limited. Confirm both the coach and the onward accessible route before buying. Aérobus journey and assistance conditions
What our booking records add
In our reviewed GetTransfer bookings from Beauvais Airport to destinations recorded as Paris, scheduled from September 2025 to August 2026 and marked completed, 39% had request dates at least seven calendar days before the travel date. This describes our booking sample, not all airport passengers, and does not show that booking earlier lowers the price.
The calculation uses calendar-date fields in UTC, one outward record per booking, and excludes return rows and the airport or Disneyland destinations identified in our selection. It measures when a request was created, not when a fare was paid or a vehicle confirmed.
If considering a car, compare a quote for your final address, passenger count and bags with the complete public-transport cost. Check waiting after flight delays, child seats and the pickup location in our guide to comparing transfer offers. GetTransfer publishes this guide and sells transfer booking services.
