Sharm Airport to Naama Bay or Nabq: Get to the Right Resort

Book your ride from Sharm el-Sheikh Airport (SSH) to the exact hotel on your room confirmation. Naama Bay and Nabq are different destinations, and sister hotels can have similar names but separate entrances. First check whether your holiday already includes airport transport; if it does not, compare the hotel’s pickup with a direct car.
How far are Naama Bay and Nabq?

These figures come from the hotels’ own Mövenpick and Rixos pages. Use the figures for those hotels only. If you stay at Mövenpick, the 15 minutes is driving time; getting through arrivals or waiting for a shared coach takes extra time.
Match the whole hotel name, including “Adults Only”, “Aqua” or any resort section. Ask the hotel for a map pin for reception and send it to whoever is collecting you; the first result in a map search may be a sister property.
Does “shuttle included” mean airport collection?
Read what the shuttle connects. Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm Adults Only, for example, describes a shuttle for beach access. That is a different journey from SSH to the resort.
An airport pickup confirmation should name your flight, date, passengers and hotel. If your holiday has a transfer voucher, use the meeting point and representative shown there. Ask whether the coach stops at other properties; other hotel stops and waiting for passengers will add to the journey.
What will your group pay?
Ask for a price to your hotel rather than relying on a fare for “Sharm”. The sources above do not give a standard taxi price for either bay. Tell the provider how many people and bags you have and whether you need child seats. Check the currency and how long the driver will wait after landing.
For four people, compare four shared fares, including any extras with one car price for everyone and their bags. If your holiday includes a coach, check its voucher for any extra charges before paying for a second ride.
Where to go after collecting your bags
- After collecting bags, go to the meeting area on your confirmation. Look for the company or name you were told to expect.
- If no one is there, call from an identifiable exit or sign. Give your terminal and exact position before agreeing to move.
- Show the full hotel name and reception pin before loading the car. Confirm any child-seat or bulky-luggage arrangement then.
If the flight is delayed, update both the pickup organiser and the hotel. Ask whether the original collection will wait or be replaced and whether the price changes. Avoid leaving a shared-coach organiser looking for you if you switch to another ride.
For the flight home, use the reception at which you actually checked in as the pickup point. Set the time from your airline’s required airport arrival, adding the hotel’s road estimate and a margin for traffic. If you are taking a shared coach, use the organiser’s pickup time and allow for its other stops.
