Manila Airport to Makati: Terminal, Taxi or a Verified Bus

For NAIA to Makati, confirm your arrival terminal and exact hotel entrance before choosing transport. An airport taxi can take you to the address; a bus may work if a currently operating Makati departure and its final connection fit. Do not build the trip around an unverified bus timetable or a guaranteed drive time.
Give the driver a terminal and an entrance
Use the terminal shown for your actual flight, then check NAIA's official arrivals information before travelling. If the board does not show your flight, confirm the terminal with your airline. “Manila airport” is not a sufficient meeting instruction. Keep the flight number, terminal, meeting instructions and carrier contact available offline.
For the destination, send the accommodation name, full address and map pin together. Ask which entrance a car should use. A stay around Ayala and a stay in Poblacion should not receive the same generic “Makati” drop-off. If the building has several entrances, confirm the one serving reception before you leave the airport.
Airport taxis: keep the dispatch slip
NAIA's current transport guide lists coupon, yellow metered and regular metered taxis. It instructs passengers to keep the dispatch slip issued by airport personnel, rather than hand it to the driver. The slip carries contact numbers for concerns about the journey.
Use the airport's designated taxi service point and show the complete destination. Before departure, ask whether the price is fixed or metered, how tolls and any additional charges are handled, and which payment methods are accepted. Keep the agreed details and request a receipt. A flat quote and a meter reading are different ways of pricing a trip; compare the amount payable for the whole journey.
We do not quote one universal NAIA–Makati taxi fare. Terminal, destination, vehicle and charging method must be established first. Likewise, ask about the current route and traffic rather than treating an optimistic driving estimate as a promised arrival time.
Bus to One Ayala: verify the service first
The airport's transport guide lists UBE Express and names One Ayala Makati among its destinations. However, during our check, the operator's website and its linked current route menu did not establish a usable One Ayala timetable or fare. That does not prove the service is cancelled; it means we cannot present a daily departure or price as confirmed.
Before relying on this option, ask the operator or airport transport desk for the next departure from your terminal to One Ayala, its fare, boarding point and luggage allowance. The operator website lists inquiry number +63 998 386 7229. Confirm the route by destination name: Ayala Malls Nuvali and Ayala Malls South Park are not interchangeable with One Ayala Makati.
Even with a confirmed bus, check the last leg. Price the connection or walk from One Ayala to your accommodation, not just the airport ticket. If you cannot confirm the bus you need, use an airport-authorised road option rather than travelling to another terminal on the assumption that a departure will be there.
Compare seats, bags and the complete price
For four people, compare four verified bus fares plus the final connection with one vehicle quote that can actually accommodate all four and their bags. Do not assume a car with four passenger seats has space for four large suitcases. Send the number and approximate size of bags, and ask for suitable capacity before accepting an offer.
Build the timing from separate parts: terminal exit, getting to the boarding or meeting point, waiting, the road journey and the hotel entrance. For a timed appointment, allow a margin rather than booking a connection immediately after the flight's scheduled landing.
