For a riad, ask the accommodation for its recommended vehicle meeting point before choosing a ride. “City centre” is too broad to establish where you will finish with your bags.

Bus 19: check the usable departure, not your landing time

Marrakech's regional tourism board lists airport bus 19 at 30 MAD per trip, running from 06:00 to 21:30, with departures about every 20 minutes. The airport operator also describes a city shuttle every 20 minutes. Allow for immigration, baggage collection and finding the stop. A flight landing shortly before the listed end of service may leave too little time to catch a bus. Keep a taxi or confirmed pickup as your fallback rather than treating the flight arrival time as a bus connection.

Before boarding, show the destination address and ask which stop leaves the most practical final walk. Save that stop and your accommodation's directions offline. Do not assume that the nearest point on a map is the easiest route with a suitcase, or that every city bus is the airport shuttle.

A taxi comparison starts with the destination and the whole party

ONDA places the airport taxi rank on the esplanade and says destination fares are displayed in the taxi parking area. Read the posted destination information and confirm the total before loading. An old article's universal “centre fare” is a poor substitute for the price to your particular address.

At the tourism board's listed bus fare, three passengers paying the same fare would spend 90 MAD on the airport bus; four would spend 120 MAD. These are arithmetic examples, before any final taxi or other onward cost. Compare that total with a quote for a vehicle that actually fits your party and bags. Check child fares and any return-ticket conditions separately rather than assuming a discount.

For a prebooked car, request the precise meeting location, included waiting time, delay procedure, luggage capacity and cancellation terms in writing. The final stretch to a riad deserves its own plan

Send the riad your arrival time and ask for both its entrance pin and a point where a vehicle can stop. The name of the riad alone may not be enough to agree the same meeting point with everyone.

If there is a final walk, check the route with the accommodation, keep a working contact number and decide who will meet you. Describe mobility needs or bulky luggage before booking. A car quote to the riad's address does not, by itself, confirm that the vehicle can reach its front door.
