Dalaman Airport to Ölüdeniz: The Bus Change in Fethiye

The airport bus ends in Fethiye; Ölüdeniz needs another leg. From Dalaman Airport (DLM), take the coach to Fethiye Otogar, then a local bus towards Ovacık, Hisarönü and Ölüdeniz—or compare one car to the hotel. Check the address first: you may need to get off before the beach.
Airport to Fethiye: where and when
MUTTAŞ route 48-25 serves Fethiye Otogar via Göcek and Günlükbaşı. Its tariff effective 18 May 2026 lists TRY 300 per person for the airport–Fethiye route, including VAT. Card payment is available.
MUTTAŞ buses leave from domestic arrivals to meet arriving domestic flights; advance reservations are not available. If your flight is international, ask about the next departure and how to reach the boarding point before counting on this bus.
Another option is Havaş. Its search for Muğla – Dalaman Havalimanı → Muğla – Fethiye on 31 October showed about 60 minutes and TRY 300 per person, including VAT. The airport lists its boarding area in the car park. Havaş also ties this service to domestic arrivals, so international passengers should confirm a departure before relying on it. Traffic can lengthen the hour-long ride.
In either operator’s timetable, choose the direction from the airport. MUTTAŞ’s “Fethiye departure” times are for the opposite journey. Add the wait for a bus, the change in Fethiye and the ride to your hotel to the driving time.
At Fethiye Otogar, change towards Ölüdeniz
On route 3-40’s outbound stop list, CARREFOURSA OTOGAR is stop 11. Ask at the bus station where to board towards Ölüdeniz, then show the driver your hotel. Make sure you are using the outbound list, not the return route.
Show the hotel entrance on your map. Ovacık and Hisarönü appear before the final Ölüdeniz destination; riding all the way to the beach may mean passing the stop you need. Check the remaining walk with your bags. A taxi from Fethiye is an alternative if the local bus leaves an awkward final approach.

The local fare table above is for the full Köyler Garajı–Ölüdeniz route. Ask what you will pay from Otogar and whether you need to buy or load a card. TRY 89 and TRY 115 are fares for different card types, not two cash-price options.
Using TRY 89 for the local leg gives TRY 389 per person, or TRY 1,556 for four fare-paying travellers. Using TRY 115 gives TRY 415 or TRY 1,660. Add card costs and any hotel ride. You pay for the two buses separately.
Will the second bus still be running?
Route 3-40’s weekday, Saturday and Sunday timetables currently list departures from the first stop in Fethiye from 06:50 to 00:00. The bus reaches Otogar later. Open the timetable for your day and ask about the last departure from Otogar; do not arrive at midnight assuming a bus will be waiting.
If your airport coach arrives too late for a workable onward bus, compare a car from Fethiye with a direct airport-to-hotel ride before starting. Count the waiting time for both buses as part of the journey. Send the hotel your revised arrival and agree late check-in. For the return, plan the local leg first, then an airport bus that meets your airline’s arrival requirement.
