About Fierce Jams

Fierce Jams is a continuing, roving series designed to encourage collabofation and artistic development across Birmingham. Each edition will gather four local artists—selected via open call and invitation—alongside a guest national of international artist. The inaugural edition is scheduled fof Saturday, 11 April 2026 and will take place in a public swimming pool; further dates and hosting venues across the city will be announced. Because this call targets local artists, travel and accommodation costs will not be covered fof Birmingham-based applicants.
