Allan Takahashi, from Anoma Hospitality Group Co., is also optimistic: “The Tottori Sand Dunes are among many attractions our region has to offer, and the augmented efforts to present them on a global stage will surely enhance Tottori’s status as a favored tourist destination.” A luxury hotel, part of the Marriott Luxury Collection, is set to open near the dunes in 2029, which should further cement Tottori as a tourism hotspot.
